Library Policies

Find out what you need to obtain a library Card, Review our Checkout Policy and Computer Use Agreement. Who can get a card? The Case-Halstead Public Library is locally funded by property taxes paid by persons who own property within the city limits. If you live within Carlyle city limits or own real estate in the city, your taxes support the library and a card will be issued at no charge. Our Staff

The library is fortunate to have a friendly staff that will help you with whatever you may need.   Carolyn Boeker Carolyn grew up in Carlyle and recalls riding her bike to the library with her siblings as a child. She is married and has two children with her husband and a step-daughter. Before she began working at the library in March of 2013, she worked at CVS (also in Carlyle) for 14 years.
